ROLE OVERVIEW:

Youthmix is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and proactive Fundraising Associate to support our efforts in raising vital funds for our youth-focused programmes. This volunteer role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thinking creatively, and making a tangible impact in the community. You’ll help us grow our donor base, run fundraising initiatives, and strengthen our relationships with supporters.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Identifying new fundraising opportunities, including community events, corporate sponsorships, and online initiatives.
  • Engaging with donors and supporters through communications and relationship management.
  • Supporting the creation of fundraising materials such as emails, social media content, and promotional resources.
  • Tracking donations and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborating with the wider team to align fundraising efforts with Youthmix’s strategic goals.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and a willingness to try new approaches to fundraising.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Previous experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or events is a bonus – but not required.
