ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Events Manager & Facilitator at Youthmix, you’ll play a key role in designing, organising, and delivering impactful events that empower young people. You’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating events to inspire and equip young people with the skills they need for the future.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Organising and managing Youthmix events.
  • Leading interactive sessions, workshops, and/or discussions to engage and inspire young people.
  • Handling event logistics.
  • Working with speakers, volunteers, and community partners to deliver high-quality events.
  • Helping to promote events through social media, emails, and other communication channels through collaboration with other Youthmix teams.
  • Gathering feedback and assessing event success to continually improve experiences for participants.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Experience in planning, coordination and facilitation.
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to engage and connect with young people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for youth development and creating positive opportunities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and external partners.
