Tree Rescue Restoration, Wellington
Conservation Volunteers NZ managed by Volunteer Wellington

Our region is lucky enough to still have areas of lush native forests and other ecosystems, teeming with native and rare wildlife. They need our protection! Help us protect our growing native trees that are destined for a greener future, by hand releasing newly planted natives from a variety of weeds that grow rapidly but if left alone, will smother and kill our young these taonga / treasure. These volunteer events are contributing to a chain of native habitat restoration projects along the outer green belt of Te Whanganui a Tara / Wellington, and is funded by Wellington City Council. We will contact you via email to provide you with more information about our volunteer programme, and how to book a date through our website.
