Volunteer Coordinator – Hutt Radio

Hutt Radio, a community radio station serving the Hutt Valley, is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help manage and support our team of dedicated volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Outreach: Write and post engaging advertisements for new volunteer positions across various platforms. Application & Interview Process: Review initial applications and conduct interviews for administration roles (specialist roles will be handled by relevant staff). Onboarding & Training: Assist in welcoming and guiding new volunteers to ensure they understand their roles and expectations. Scheduling & Communication: Maintain volunteer rosters and keep the team informed of station updates. Support & Engagement: Foster a positive volunteer culture and ensure volunteers feel valued and motivated.
