ABOUT YOUTHMIX:

Youthmix is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering youth through education, mentorship, coaching and community engagement. Our mission is "Empowering youth to thrive and excel in their careers". At Youthmix, we are building a community where every young person has the resources, opportunities, and support to achieve their career goals.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Are you a university student in New Zealand with a passion for empowering youth to thrive and excel in their career? Join us as a Youthmix Ambassador! This volunteer opportunity allows you to make a real impact while gaining valuable leadership experience, growing your network, and building skills that will stand out on your CV. As a Youthmix Ambassador, you’ll represent our mission, helping to promote our initiatives and engage your peers in creating positive change.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Promote Youthmix’s mission, programmes, and resources on campus and online.
  • Help organise and attend events, workshops, and campaigns to raise awareness about Youthmix’s work.
  • Inspire your peers to get involved with Youthmix by sharing opportunities and encouraging participation.
  • Collaborate with the Youthmix team to share creative ideas for social media posts, videos, newsletters and blogs that engage your community.
  • Act as a bridge between Youthmix and your university's students by sharing insights and feedback to help us improve our initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • A genuine interest in helping young people thrive.
  • Currently enrolled in a New Zealand university.
  • Confident in engaging with others, both online and in-person.
  • Able to take initiative and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Capable of managing your time and commitments effectively.
  • A willingness to collaborate and work with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Commitment to upholding Youthmix’s values of Team, Humility, Resilience, Inspire, Vision, and Empower.
