DeafBlind Conference lead event volunteers
DeafBlind Association of NZ Charitable Trust managed by Volunteer Wellington
DeafBlind Association NZ partners with deafblind New Zealanders to support opportunities for connection and inclusion. The organization is hosting their 2025 conference from Thursday 26 June to Sunday 29 June next year, they are looking for lead volunteers with great organisational skills to manage the event team of volunteers and ensure everything is going smoothly. Full training will be given beforehand by the Executive Officer for Deafblind Association NZ. People involved with the deafblind community will be attending from around Aotearoa. Their last conference had 32 people present identifying with dual sensory impairment and 44 other people. DeafBlind Association are an organisation fostering healthy, accessible engagement between the deafblind, their whanau, service providers, funders, non-government organisations, and local and central government. If you are a great organiser with the ability to manage a group of volunteers, we would appreciate your assistance in supporting the mahi of this organisation!
