The ideal applicant's will have an understanding of and/or experience in the social services sector. Experience in Governance and would also be welcomed. SASH values Board Members who bring insight into managing organisational change and growth, and to supporting the team in the work they do. We would welcome someone who has a strong understanding of Te Tiriti. We encourage applications from Men, Tāngata Whenua, Pasifika, Younger members of the community, and members from the Rainbow Community.

We meet monthly in our office based in Nelson City, or you can join us online if you are out of town.

The successful applicant will need to be available to attend monthly board meetings, to work collegiately with the members to strategically support and grow the organisation alongside the General Manager, moving with the ever changing landscape of Sector funding.
