Expo Ambassador
Insight Endometriosis Charitable Trust supported by Volunteering Services (BOP)

Expo Ambassadors hold a key role in our organisation by providing information about endometriosis at expos, engaging positively with the public.
Key duties include:
- approaching people as they walk past our stand asking if they know about endometriosis
- raising awareness of endometriosis by explaining about the condition
- talking to people that want to engage with you about endometriosis and listening
Its a fun role where you get to meet lots of people and enjoy the atmosphere of the Women's Lifestyle Expo.
Shifts are 3 hours and we provide comprehensive training for 2 hours prior to expos and successful volunteers will need to attend training.
We are looking for people with these skills:
- friendly, approachable and reliable
- comfortable communicating with people from different backgrounds
- good listening skills
- the ability to maintain confidence
- capable of standing and engaging with members of the public
General knowledge about endometriosis is an advantage but full training will be given.
If you are confident liaising with the general public, and available for training and a 3-hour shift on Saturday 20th and/or Sunday 21st September please apply today!
