Expo Ambassador

Expo Ambassadors hold a key role in our organisation by providing information about endometriosis at expos, engaging positively with the public.

Key duties include:

• approaching people as they walk past our stand asking if they know about endometriosis
• raising awareness of endometriosis by explaining about the condition
• talking to people that want to engage with you about endometriosis and listening

Its a fun role where you get to meet lots of people and enjoy the atmosphere of the Women's Lifestyle Expo.

Shifts are 3 hours and we provide comprehensive training for 2 hours prior to expos and successful volunteers will need to attend training.

We are looking for people with these skills:

• friendly, approachable and reliable
• comfortable communicating with people from different backgrounds
• good listening skills
• the ability to maintain confidence
• capable of standing and engaging with members of the public

General knowledge about endometriosis is an advantage but full training will be given.
