Community Liaison
Hutt Community Radio and Audio Archives Charitable Trust managed by Volunteer Wellington

Help every organisation in the Hutt Valley by helping one! As a community radio station, Hutt Radio offers a range of free services to the entire Hutt Valley community - every sports and other club, every school, NGO and government agency. It's the reason we exist. And we need you to be the liaison between us, and all of them. It's a rewarding role in which you get to help every sort of community organisation you can imagine. The Hutt Valley is home to a wide range of organisations, all doing vital work in the community. From sports, hobby and art clubs to schools, hospitals and government agencies. And Hutt Radio plays a vital role in helping all of them by offering free advertising. Whether it's a special event, a membership drive, a call for donations or volunteers - whatever they need to tell the Hutt, we're their voice in the valley. Keeping abreast of everything going on in this vibrant community requires a very special person with the special skills below. Your job will be, initially, to help us build our database of contact information. Then, to use that to send regular reminders of the free services we offer, and to co-ordinate any requests to access the airwaves. That might be arranging an interview, compiling the information for a community notice, or even co-ordinating our participation in an event. Most of this work can be done from home, at whatever time you choose. You'll be at the very centre of everything we do; a vital member of small, dedicated and supportive team. If this sounds like you, or you just want to know more, get in touch today.
