Social Media and Content Creator (with experience) needed!

We are looking for someone with proven social media and content creation experience.

Possesses a combination of graphic design, writing, social media management and content creation skills.

Committed and reliable volunteers: able to dedicate the time needed to manage our social media, take ownership of the role, and ensure content is created, scheduled, and everything runs smoothly.

Strong communication skills: must have a good grasp of grammar, English, and punctuation.

Able to make the time commitment: must be able to dedicate 2-3 hours per week, consistently. This role requires reliability—we need someone who will prioritise the work and follow through, regardless of other commitments.

Seeking volunteers with initiative, who are reliable, proactive, organised, and genuinely passionate about rescue work.
THE ROLE INVOLVES:

Creating engaging content (posts, reels, videos) to keep our followers informed and interested in our rescue work.

Liaising with our foster parents and drafting updates on the rescue dogs in care. Plus things like adoption opportunities, breed health, fundraising events, sponsors, and toy breed-related topics.

Designing eye-catching graphics or content to post.

Liaising with team members and trustees to ensure accurate and impactful messaging.

Incorporating high-quality images from our photographer into posts to highlight dogs needing adoption or medical care.

Confident and capable managing and scheduling posts for our Facebook and Instagram accounts with a reasonable level of automony.
PLEASE NOTE:

This role is not suitable for those without prior experience, overseas applicants, or anyone simply looking to add something to their CV. We need someone skilled, capable, and genuinely committed.

NZCR can provide access to Canva PRO and Adobe etc.

Remote Role: can be an entirely remote role, from anywhere in New Zeland.
