Upper Hutt Repair Cafe is seeking more talented volunteers to their skills at our Repair Cafe events. This is a casual role and events are usually Saturdays every 1-2 months in Upper Hutt. Our volunteers share their repair skills by.. Assessing the fault with items brought in by the public Advising on the best way to repair (if possible) or repurpose Assisting with the repair if within their skillset, or refer to a local specialist Demonstrating and teaching the repair skill for the item Advising on alternatives to landfill for broken goods In this volunteer role you will have the opportunity to influence positive change in the Upper Hutt community by sharing your repair skills and reducing waste to landfill.
