Our Social Media Manager will administer our Facebook and Instagram accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will cohesively work with Life Education Trust’s brand and messaging to achieve our marketing goals. As a Social Media Manager, we expect you would be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express LET Rodney’s views creatively.

• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content weekly (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) • Collaborate with the wider Marketing and Life Education Trust team to ensure brand consistency • Communicate with followers and respond to queries promptly • Update the social media accounts in collaboration with ongoing events and broader marketing team • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions You will own the channels and work with the Chair and trustees to ensure consistent messaging.

Important: No training or hands-on support is provided in this role. It is essential you have the relevant IT competency to navigate the IT tools and applications necessary to deliver against the responsibilities and duties below in the expected timeframes. Self-learning is encouraged. Requirements:

The right person needs to be completely confident with current social media platforms and have a solid understanding of how each platform functions to maximize results and integrate media.

An IT, Marketing or Communications qualification is preferred. Work experience and skills: • Proven work experience as a Social media manager preferred • Hands-on experience in content management • Good copywriting skills • The ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) using tools like Canva or similar. • Familiarity with graphic design preferred • Excellent communication skills • Analytical and multitasking skills A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment: 2 hours per week, can be completed flexibly
