If you are looking for work experience in conservation or to help out with inspiring environmental community groups, this is an opportunity for you.
Community groups in the Upper Harbor need your help to show their hard mahi to online networks. We are looking for 2-3 people who would be able to maintain pre-established social media platforms or develop new ones. Our groups spend a lot of time in the field - planting, trapping, growing seedlings or testing waterways. It's important that we are also able to show the work and successes to our Auckland networks so that we encourage and celebrate volunteers and stand by positive environmental advocacy.
We expect you to spend 5-6 hours a week in the role, the hours as well as which hours are flexible to meet the agreement you have with the community group.
The work can be done from home, If you live on the North Shore, Auckland, you will be more likely to be able to attend the workshop opportunities that come up, although these can also be online sometimes!
We are also looking for helpers who can speak Mandarin and would like to translate our marketing, so that we can reach our neighborhoods better.
