If you're looking for a volunteer role that gives back to the community, creating warmer homes, but also gives you the ability to meet new people, gain experience in the not-for-profit sector then this is the role for you!
At Dunedin Curtain Bank, we collect, repair and reline donated curtains to provide to those in need including families, elderly and disabled. This role involves, sorting, dehooking and un-knotting curtains, as well as measuring and shelving of our donated curtains.
We receive on average 1,200 curtains annually which means that we are always in need of helpers to keep our curtain storeroom well organised. This in turn means that we are able to turn around these curtains faster and get them out to those in need.
