Our excellent basketball programme is well-attended by about 30 athletes with an intellectual disability. The number of athletes coming each week has grown considerably so we are now seeking people who are keen to join our committed team of coaches and assistant coaches at weekly practice sessions. Our coaches also have the opportunity to attend regional tournaments in the Lower North Island, National Summer Games and even World Summer Games. Coaches run warm-ups, drills and supervise games.
