You will be responsible for: • Counselling clients of all ages in line with our general practice integration • Recording all session notes and reports to clinical standard • Keeping a solid track record of your clients and bookings • Participate in all ongoing training provided by us. • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations Requirements • Must be registered or working towards registration with NZAC or NZCCA or DAPAANZ or SWRB • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns, in particular knowledge of tikanga Maori and Pacific peoples’ culture. • Good knowledge of holistic approaches to counselling • Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations • Good self-care strategies • Excellent planning and organising abilities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of, and established links to, community networks and experience working in collaboration with community service providers, other government departments, including work in cross-cultural situations.
