This volunteer role in the Greater Wellington region works as an effective member of the Area Managers Team providing pastoral care support, leadership and direction to the regional team and local coordinators (local leaders). In consultation with the Area Manager and team, encourage and support growth and capacity building. Provide advice to inform decisions made about growth, development and delivery of quality programmes in the region. Create a welcoming and inclusive culture, act as a role model and participate in regular review discussions with direct reports. Facilitate regular Regional Team meetings, which may be virtual, in order to plan for and deliver on objectives. Contribute to growth in membership of both volunteers and girls through effective team functioning, quality leadership and delivery of a well-balanced, relevant girl programme. Ensure that Local Team Co-coordinators take responsibility for overseeing quality unit programmes. Ensure that there is a strong girl voice in the Region, that girls are heard and listened to and have opportunities to engage with the functioning in Regional Hub.
