In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and many deteriorating global issues, Rethinking Economics New Zealand was founded in 2020 to encourage pluralism and diversity in economics and democratise economics education. We are affiliated with Rethinking Economics, an international network of students, academics and critical thinkers, campaigning to improve and reinvigorate economics in the classroom and beyond. Our mission is to empower learners and build a diverse community of socially-engaged, young 'Rethinkers' who have the knowledge and skills to address the multi-dimensional challenges in our society.

We are looking for a creative marketing director to join our team! You will be responsible for designing and producing the visual layout for a variety of media, including social media and websites for education and marketing purposes.

Duties Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), answer online queries, and ensure timelines for campaigns are followed. Devises innovative strategies with the Exec Director & advisors to engage our target audience. Coordinate with content directors and design officer to deliver marketing materials

Skills/Qualifications Passion about our cause to diversify economics education. Background in marketing or design is preferred. Knowledge of common social media best practices will be highly regarded. Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
