We are looking for a volunteer Fundraising Officer to join our executive team. This will be someone with previous fundraising experience and sound knowledge of the application process for grants and sponsorships. The Fundraising Officer will work closely with our Treasurer to understand the financial needs and commitments of upcoming events and projects. Other responsibilities will include determining what purpose funds are being raised for and developing a fundraising plan. This will involve identifying potential sources of funds and writing the grant application or sponsorship proposal, and ensuring the acquired funds are being used for the designated purpose. In addition, you will maintain relationships with donors, grant agencies and sponsors and submit regular reports to them, as well as quarterly reports of funding and sponsorship work.
