Volunteer Meal Delivery Driver - Various Areas required

We are looking for a reliable drivers to pick up and deliver chilled soups and groceries and delivery to recipients in the Auckland Area. Drivers need to collect packages from Mt Roskill. The deliveries take place once a fortnight.

Packages are picked up from our store in Mt Roskill and delivered to recipients in the South Auckland Area. The number of deliveries will vary between 5 - 10 deliveries. Recipients are incredibility grateful and you will see how much what you do means to them. Many are unable to shop or prepare meals so the food parcels we provide are practical help.

Volunteers would need to be;

  • Friendly, polite, caring, helpful
  • To be honest, reliable, punctual, well presented And have;
  • Current, clean drivers license
  • Good written and spoken communication
  • Their own transport

People are incredibly grateful to receive the meals. It hugely improves their sense of wellbeing and quality of life.

We require a police check for this position and work within the mandatory MOH guidelines for delivering. We deliver to vulnerable people and our priority is to keep them safe.
