Every week at least three Kiwi kids are diagnosed with cancer. Child cancer affects the whole family and right now Child Cancer Foundation provides personalised support to over 1,700 families across New Zealand. We receive no direct government funding which means we rely on donations to continue to provide this support.
What does a Collection Box Coordinator do?
• Engaging with a variety of businesses to accommodate a collection box • Education businesses on the work the Child Cancer Foundation does • Keep up to date records on box locations • Empty collection boxes regularly and bank money • Keep in regular contact with your Business Development manager.
What is required to do the role?
• Basic record keeping skills • Confidence, in person and on the phone, to approach businesses • Professional attitude and appearance • Be dependable and reliable • Be able to pass a Criminal check • Ability to travel to businesses.
What will Child Cancer Foundation supply?
• Full training and support • All of the resources you need to support your volunteer duties.
