Our Youth Programme provides young people with the experience to gain: confidence - empathy - life - health and leadership skills. By joining our youth team and delivering the youth programme you will be provided with the opportunity to gain self-reward and development! Reporting to the Wellington District Youth Manager you will be responsible for managing members and resources and overall activities for the youth divisions in the Kapiti area which includes Johnsonville and Porirua. A pivotal role in the Youth team you will provide leadership and direction and on-going support to your managers and members to achieve the objectives of the District and Regional Youth Business Plan. A team player with well-honed organisational skills you will have a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships whilst ensuring the level of service delivered to youth and the community is consistent and of the highest quality.
