This Wellington based community group would like support with sponsorship and fundraising by having a volunteer make applications to funding organizations. It is an important role as they are improving their community venue but they are short of people to do it in-house. The task is to research funding organizations and communicate with them by phone or email: costings of the things they are applying for: getting quotes: compile information: write it up and send the application. The role would suit someone methodical and enthusiastic who likes to research things and communicate with people verbally and in writing. They can help with tidying up the writing if it is not your strong point.
