About this opportunity
The festival is 23-25 October.
Pack in days is 21-22 October and pack out day is 25 October.
There's different areas to volunteer in:
Ushering - guiding people to seats and making sure people don't crowd the doors
Backstage/Behind the scenes - registration desk (welcoming people when they arrive),showing people to the right tent, assisting stage managers.
Arts and crafts - assisting tutors with their workshops and helping visitors with their arts and crafts (example, cutting things, colouring, glueing etc)
Wearable arts - assisting visitors into costume, and guiding people in the parade and supporting them in the 'cat walk'
Traffic control/management - guiding cars to parking spaces and safety of people.
Supporting people - encouraging people to take part, assist in taking them to the right place (example leading them onto the stage, pushing people in wheelchairs if needed during the wearable arts parade).
Packing in and packing out - setting up tables and chairs, decorations before the festival and taking everything down and putting things back.
