Arts and Crafts

Community Service Long Term Canterbury

About this opportunity

In our care packages going out to our clients via our contract with Red Cross we like to show case our talented artists and craftspeople.

To give a handmade card, piece of art, knitted or sewn product, painted rocks etc. has bought so much joy to the Muslim Community to date that we wish to continue this for the new refugees and our other clients suffering trauma after a tragedy.

We like to give each member an item not just the family only. This makes them all feel.thought of and loved.

We are open to having craft sessions on site to promote friendship amongst some of chch elderly and newly separated people experiencing loneliness.
