Home Cook / Baker

Family Support Long Term Canterbury

About this opportunity

We are looking for a team of bakers that can keep our freezers full of both baking and meals for both the red cross refugees we are assisting and others experiencimg trauma after a tragedy.

From time to time we will have events where we will need further assistance and would love to reach out to those who could assist.

We feel it is important to have home made items in our care packages that go out that are based on donations. It show cases local talent and if our client is from overseas gets a chance to try great nz food.

One knows when in shock or grieving its hard sometimes to even have the energy to cook or bake for youself and family so to be able to assist brings joy.😀

We are fortunate to receive one cake a week from Good Bitches Baking but need more sadly.

If disaster strikes again we wish to utilise our team of chefs and bakers quickly to help those affected. With the mosque shootings we had a team of over 50 plus providing 100 meals a day.
