About this opportunity

Walking Stars is a night-time walking half marathon bringing people together to raise vital funds in support of local people living with cancer to be held on the 16th of November in Wellington. Purpose of Position: To assist with the setup of Walking Stars. Key Functions and Responsibilities: Check in at information booth and then with lead Operational Volunteer. Contact staff or security if any issues arise. Duties will be varied and could include but not be limited to: Unloading and setting up merchandise. Setting up info booth/pack pick up area. Setting up signage. Setting up tea and coffee station.


Additional requirements

Outgoing: enthusiastic: happy to answer queries from the general public.

Time Required

Saturday 16th November min 3 hours to pack up and pre-event orientation session
