Walking Stars is a night-time walking half marathon bringing people together to raise vital funds in support of local people living with cancer to be held on the 16th of November in Wellington. The Track Marshall's role is to assist in marshaling the walking track at Walking Stars. Make sure everyone is staying on track. Direct injuries to first aid. Encourage walkers. You will be positioned in pairs or groups. Key Functions and Responsibilities: Check in at information booth and then with lead track marshal. Stay in one area as assigned by lead track marshal wearing hi-vis vest at all times. Ensure participants are staying on track and off prohibited areas. Stop any dangerous behaviour and call security or staff if necessary. Direct injuries to first-aid on-site. Call for assistance for injured participant if necessary. Encourage and support participants throughout!

Outgoing: enthusiastic: happy to answer queries from the general public.

Saturday 16th November minimum 5 hours and pre-event orientation session
