Wellington Women's Health Collective

The Wellington Women’s Health Collective (“the Collective”) is a small not for profit organisation that has at its heart the well- being of women. It was formed in 1986 and since then has become an established part of the Wellington community. The Collective provides support, referrals, information and a counselling service to thousands of women, more than three-quarters of whom are on very low incomes. While most women self-refer through the Collective’s website or by word-of-mouth, community groups, GPs, social workers, hospital staff and private counsellors also make referrals. The Collective also offers pregnancy testing and condoms. All of its services are free.
