Creative Capital Arts Trust

The Creative Capital Arts Trust (CCAT) is a Wellington-based non-profit charitable organisation that produces both the New Zealand Fringe Festival and free street festival CubaDupa. We were established in 2011 to plan, manage, and deliver key arts events in the Capital, foster new and emerging cultural celebrations, and support emerging artists, producers, and collaborations in the Wellington Region. Our core objectives remain the same: to facilitate the delivery of creative experiences in Wellington; to provide platforms for innovative new work; to develop the skills of emerging artists and cultural producers; to present accessible and diverse arts festivals which also expand audiences; and to expand the idea of what it means to be a creative city. Underpinning it all is a deep focus on cultural, civic, and community wellbeing.
