OUR PURPOSE
BALD ANGELS CHARITABLE TRUST exists to "care for our children and to support youth to thrive"​.

OUR PRIME MOTIVATION
is to connect our community to support our children.

We organise multiple programmes and events in which the Northland community donates funds and children’s essentials. Angels then connects first line partners ( the Police, Plunket, Social Services, Public Health organisations,Women’s Refuges and Foodbanks) to distribute those donations directly to kids in need.
Some of these campaigns include:
• Keep Our Kids Warm: Broader Northland collection of Winter coats, blankets and
clothes for children;
• Kai Easy: Community Garden (Food Growing);
• Angel Bears that care (first responder comfort bears for children in trauma events)
• Christmas Hampers and Toys

When our partners turn up unexpectedly bearing crucial gifts for kids and food for the whole whanau (family), this can create a strong and powerful link between the guardians and the services that are here to support healthier, safer living for kiwis.

YOUTH PROJECTS
We also work with partners to inspire and enable local youth to thrive.
Our KiwiMANA project recently saw 8 young people aged 16 to 19 engage in a life changing 7 week residential LIFE SKILLS experience, and included a 10-night stay in the bush, sessions on budgeting, addictions, mindfulness, driver licencing and first aid training. We are developing this and our Kaiārahi programme.
We believe all youth deserve to thrive, feel self pride, dream well and follow a pathway to sustainable wellbeing.
