About The Champion Centre

The Champion Centre is a not for profit organisation that provides centre-based early intervention services to children with significant developmental delays and disabilities between the ages of 0 and 6 years.
Our core services include speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and early intervention teaching. These services are complemented by our supporting programmes which include music and play therapy, computer assisted learning, and a transition to school programme.

Our integrated approach has been recognised internationally as leading-edge practice, yet we are a hidden gem in our own backyard. We strive to showcase and celebrate our best practice model, so that more families are aware of, and can access our services in the future.

With less than 60% of our services currently funded through government agencies, we call on support from individuals and organisations who share our belief that every child, regardless of ability, has the fundamental right to access the resources, tools and support systems required to reach their full potential, physically, mentally, and socially….
