We are a small museum representing the history of the Western Bay of Plenty located in Katikati in the old Fire Station in the centre of Town. We are run by the Western Bay Heritage Trust. We have a modern museum with exhibitions that change very four months and a interactive classroom where we provide programmes for pre school, school and adult groups. We are open seven days a week. We have a collection of 11,000 artefacts which are in storage and used for the changing exhibitions. We provide ongoing training and social interaction for our Volunteers.
