We are after volunteers for our Education Programmes running on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8.30am - 4pm, and require an 8 week commitment during the school term. Product Making – Tuesdays (8.30am – 2pm) Life Skills Social Club – Wednesdays Life Skills – Thursdays On the Move – Thursdays One of our core values is young people supporting young people, so ideally our volunteers are aged between 15 and 35.
Recreate NZ is a not-for-profit which provides life changing opportunities for youth with intellectual disabilities. Our core objective as an organisation is to provide quality youth development and outdoor adventure opportunities for young people with disabilities.

We work alongside youth with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, focusing on outdoor adventure based programmes. We work with over 200 youth in Auckland, Christchurch, the Waikato and BoP regions offering 170 various programmes per year. We are a small NGO and require all the volunteer support we can get to operate well, so we highly value the input that volunteers offer us here at Recreate.

We are after volunteers for our gardening days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8.30am - 4pm. We support young people with intellectual and learning disabilities, teaching them gardening, horticulture and orchard maintenance skills. One of our core values is young people supporting young people, so ideally our volunteers are aged between 15 and 35.
This role is look after our fundraising efforts nationally across the board. We are looking for people with experience in fundraising for not for profit organisations.
We are looking for volunteers to help us develop our brand and social media presence. This includes redesigning our website, creating fresh content for our social media platforms, and developing our story as an organisation. including our podcast, and updating our membership lists. This role has a certain amount of self direction but is firmly linked with our mission as an organisation which is to combat social isolation. The role is voluntary.
