We are seeking kind, caring individuals in Central Auckland, and surrounding suburbs, and East Auckland, to work with new parents who are needing extra support. Duties may include helping families with practical day-to-day tasks, offering emotional support, modelling positive parenting and facilitating positive change as well as linking families with community activities and services. Support new parents at a challenging time so they can give their children the best start in life.
We are looking for Area Coordinators for our Daffodil Day. As an Area Coordinator, you will be manage a team of volunteers across multiple sites to collect donations for Cancer Society Auckland. Our mission is to improve community wellbeing by reducing the incidence and impact of cancer. We achieve this through a range of activities that include: funding research, education, health promotion, advocacy, and support for those affected by cancer and their whānau/families.
Ronald McDonald House Auckland is a ‘home away from home’ for families from all over New Zealand whose children require specialist medical treatment at Starship Hospital.
